"I have dreamed of seeing this restaurant come to life for many years. The concept is close to my heart and in every way a representation of the culture I have been lucky enough to inherit from my “home country” which is Mexico, my family, and specifically my mother who ignited a passion for cooking inside me. Through “La Doña,” My husband, Andrea Covino, also inspired me by having a restaurant exemplifying his “roots.” We have worked endlessly for our “inspiration,” our sons Luca, Brian, and Carmine. Therefore, I hope to share my roots, the true Mexican and specifically Oaxacan, cuisine and gastronomy that I learned from my culture, with my customers. We have had an amazing summer here in Cape May and are sorry to see it end.....

We will be open every day at the usual hours but our last open day is Saturday September 30th.
